Another of my first experiments using a white box for bug photography, I love how the shadow extends the picture, adding a further layer of creepiness. (Only for those who find spiders creepy, of course…)

(Nikon D80 with Tamron 90mm macro lens on the Kenko Pro 1.4x tele-extender. Subject in a white box bowl, illuminated wirelessly with the Nikon SD-900 and SB-R200 flashes. A wireless SD-600 flash with Lumiquest Softbox was mounted above the subject)
