A Tree of Buggy Blogs

Morgan Jackson at Biodiversity in Focus Blog has posted the results of his study into the phylogenetics (evolutionary relationships, not greek pastry) of different entomology blogs. Visit When you have seen one ant, one blog, one tree, you have not seen them all, to see the results of his (almost) scientific look at the bug blogging world.

And download his pdf. with links to bug bloggers all over!

Don’t delay: it has trees with shiny branches and color and will no doubt provide fodder for years of analysis by those who actually understand what it means…

I think I’m basal and un-evolved…

But don’t dare call me ‘primitive’!

Hat-tip to Myrmecos (even if  he doesn’t think  my answer , “a fly foot”, qualifies for points on the ID of a SEM photograph of, yes, a fly’s foot!!! ;)
