Will you be at the Bug Jamboree?

Hey! This bug-centric type of event does not happen often enough in Alberta…

The Ellis Bird Farm is holding a Bug Jamboree this Saturday!

From the website:

Bring the bugsters in your family to the annual Bug Jamboree at Ellis Bird Farm! Entomologists (bug experts!) will once again be setting up booths highlighting their field of expertise, whether it be butterflies, bees or aquatic insects. Kids will also enjoy bug themed crafts and for a fee of $6, you can build a bumblebee box for your backyard!

John Acorn kicks off the day with buggy entertainment at 1:00 PM!

Load up the kids and come on down! You’ll be able to meet famed butterfly expert and naturalist Charles Bird and other entomologists, and I will be there with a bug photography show and sale. If you can make it, please introduce yourself: it will be a pleasure to talk bugs and bug photography with other enthusiasts!

Ready to jam at the Jamboree!
