In the News…

Two news items that macro photographers may be interested in:

♦ Adobe has released the new Lightroom 4. beta. I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet (and I may not any time soon), but Sean McCormack at Pixiq gives a once over…

Sigma has announced a new long macro lens, an f2.8, 180mm stabilized lens. Wait for the test results, but this macro should be a great long lens to get just a slice of focus and great creamy backgrounds. If you like that sort of thing, this will be the lens to watch for.
